How many lessons are there in the Facial Enhancement Acupuncture Online Course?

A. There are eight lessons.

How do I receive certification

A. You will need to fully complete all eight lessons, including homework assignments and passing the lesson tests.

What are the lessons?

A. The lessons are divided into the following steps:

Lesson 1: Initial grounding treatment

Lesson 2: Use of anesthetic points

Lesson 3: Auricular points and their use

Lesson 4: Working around the eyes

Lesson 5: Needling the chin and cheek area

Lesson 6: Front of the face

Lesson 7: Working on the wrinkles

Lesson 8: Facial massage and finish

Will I have to take an exam to receive certification?

A. There are eight tests in the course, one after each lesson. Each test confirms your knowledge of the previous lesson. It is possible to retake the tests as the main objective is to ensure that you have a sound grasp of the treatment protocol.

Will I need to do homework?

A. Yes, there are assignments after each lesson which need to be completed in order to move on to the next step. They are personally marked by me and feedback is provided.

How do I submit my homework?

A. It is easy to submit homework, either as a Microsoft Word document or in the body of an email. Alternatively, some students choose to post their assignments.

Am I able to get help from you?

A. Yes, this is an interactive course with direct access to me via email, forums, an interactive chat room or through an instant messenger service. So if you have any questions, or need help with a lesson, I am on hand to offer guidance.

How long do I have to complete the course?

A. The great thing about this elearning online course is that you can go at your own pace. There is no time limit for completion, the estimated time is 35 hours, so with full time study, you could complete the course in as little as a week! It is entirely up to you.

How do I pay for the course?

A. You can pay for the Facial Enhancement Acupuncture course by, firstly, signing up and visiting the 'Available Courses’ section. The payment can be made via PayPal; don't worry if you don't have a PayPal account as this is not required for purchase.

Will I still have access to the lessons once I have finished the course?

A. No, once you have completed the course you will no longer be able to access it. We have provided PDF notes within each lesson, for this reason, so that you can keep the full course material for reference.

Can I access the course from any computer?

A. Yes, once you have enroled, providing you have an internet connection, you can access the course by visiting www.LearnCosmeticAcupuncture.com using your unique username and password that you have created at sign up. Please see our demonstration video showing how to enrol on the course.

Do I need to use complicated software to take the course?

A. No, the course is provided using online educational software that is simple to use and easy to access. Even if you have very basic computer skills, it is really easy to navigate your way around the course and Paul is on hand if you experience any technical problems or need advice.

I see that you are a 5 Element practitioner, but I trained in TCM can I still do the course?

A. Yes the course is designed for acupuncturists and third year students from all backgrounds, whether they practice 5 Element, TCM or auricular acupuncture. Please contact me if you are unsure of the qualifications needed to take the course.

What does certification give me?

A. Certification entitles you to be called a Facial Enhancement Acupuncture practitioner and to use the letters FEA after your name. You will also feature on the practitioners' page of this website listed under your area, with a link to all of your contact details. The Facial Enhance website ranks highly in the search engines enabling potential patients/clients to find your details effectively. You can also gather CPD points for adding to your acupuncture skills.
